Carl, Jeremy and Mark
A team of 6 New Zealand Sparrers have been selected to compete in the United States next month. The Competition is an ITF Team Sparring event between four teams: England, United States, New Zealand and Jamaica.
This Team Includes 3 members from Impact - Mark Trotter (coach), Carl van Roon and Jeremy Hanna.
The team depart on Wednesday 4th July and return to New Zealand on Tuesday 10th July. The competition is to be held at the US Open; an annual 'world champs' style Karate event held in various places throughout the world, so some team members will be entering other events as well. The venue is at Disney World in Orlando Florida on the 6th and 7th with our event being first on the schedule.
The entry fee along with the airfares, hotel accommodation and all ground transportation is fully paid for, thanks to a special invitation from Team Jamaica and their sponsor.
